FIN agility CH Almondbud's Briar Rose - Ronja
February 2, 1992 - October 13, 2004
hips A, elbows 0, eyes healthy
To my great joy, Ronja was part of my life for over 12 years. She was my first, but not last beardie
Ronja was a true agility talent, which the trainer unfortunately wasn't! Over the years there was speed and dangerous turns galore on the agility course. There were so many times when I wished
my first agility dog had been an idler whom I would've had to force onto the course rather than
a speedster. For many years we competed with varying success.
Ronja was the best agility beardie in Finland at four years. We made it to the Finnish national team
qualifiers and the Finnish championships a couple of times. Ronja won the Pedigree Final in 2001 and the travel gift token that we received has had a special meaning to us in more ways than one.
Ronja lived for agility, but after her career ended she aged surprisingly fast. Thank you Leena for a lovely dog!
Ronja's paw print can be seen all over our hobby, to which the background of our homepage bears testimony. As a tribute to Ronja the background shows Ronja's paw.
Ronja, you live on in my heart!
